FIRST EDITION: Published in 1975 by the Lutterworth Press. The light blue cloth cover is in very good condition, no corners are bumped and there are no marks on the cover. The dust jacket is also in very good condition with just some light signs of wear along the top edges and along the folds. There is some foxing on the flaps of the dust jacket. Internally the book is clean, bright and tightly bound. At the beginning of each section of the book there are illustrations by Trevor Stubley. The book tells the story of a spring tide, high water and a January gale which caused a storm surge and how this affected the Brown family during the flood, rescue and afterwards.
