£24.99

Product description

1927 reprint of the three volumes of The Forsyte Saga, published by William Heinemann as volumes 12,13, & 14 in their uniform series of The Works of John Galsworthy, Grove Edition. Lettering in gilt and decorative end-papers with green dyed edge to the top of the text block.

The three volumes titled: The Man of Property (1929); Indian Summer of a Forsyte in Chancery (1930); and Awakening to Let (1931). For anyone not familiar with the saga they provide a superb insight into late Victorian values and life. Each volume includes a useful fold out family tree of the entire family.

Some wear to the covers, particularly the spines, with bumping to the corners. However the internal pages are in a good clean condition with sound bindings.
