First edition published by Macmillan And Co., London in 1938. Book is hardcover with dust wrapper. Dust wrapper is unclipped showing a price of 25/- and is in very good condition with some bumping and chipping to extremities, one or two small tears, none longer than approx 1cm with no losses, some sunning to spine and some foxing, now protected by a clear non-adhesive cover. Binding is blue cloth covered boards with a beige cloth spine, white label with blue titles to spine. Binding is nice and tight and in very good condition with some bumping and rubbing to corners and edges, a couple of marks to covers but generally clean. Text block shows ageing to edges and some foxing, otherwise text is clean throughout. Book plate to front fep. Stated as "This is one of one hundred and eighty large paper copies printed in July 1938" and is SIGNED BY AUTHOR to this page. Bookseller Inventory 002314
