Publisher: Smith, Elder, & Co., 1908. Both volumes of a collection of works by Robert Browning. The book is a hardback with green cloth boards and the title on the spine in gilt lettering. The top edge of the pages have a gilt covering, and the other two edges are deckle edged. This copy does not have a dust cover.
The cover of the book is in a generally fine condition, however there is some wearing along the edges, bumping to the corners, and some small tearing along the spine. The inside pages are on the whole clean and crisp, however the deckle edges are obviously quite worn. There is some annotation in pencil from a previous owner at the back of the book
Despite the book being slightly worn, it is still a unique, quite ornate, hardback, and could be a nice way to own a large collection of Robert Browning's work.
