The Return Of The Prodigal and Saul is a book by Nobel Prize winning author André Gide. This is the most important volume in that it contains Gide’s finest early work and the germ of much of this protean author’s literary ideas. The pieces are arranged in chronological order, and added to them is Saul, a play written in 1899. This book is one of the volumes of the series “Standard Edition of the Works of André Gide.” This is the first translated edition of the book and was published in 1953.

The pages of the book are tightly bound and there are very few stains or marks on it. There are spots on the top edge of the pages.
