The story opens with the appearance of Francis Leyland in the little village of Flowercote. Blue cloth cover with gilt titles and the author's autograph on the front cover. There is some fading at both ends of the spine. The dust jacket is worn at both ends of the spine and on the corners and the spine is sunned. Internally clean and bright and tightly bound. A thick and heavy book. Published in 1958 in New York.
