Those Modern Musketeers

£19.99

Product description

This volume contains three long novels about the group of characters who first made Dennis Wheatley world-famous as a story-teller. 'Three Inquisitive People', 'The Forbidden Territory' and 'The Golden Spaniard' are the first stories involving the Duc de Richleau and his friends.
This edition was first published in 1954 and is bound in red cloth which is faded and age mottled; the gilt lettering on the spine is faded to dark tones. Corners are bumped and worn, with surface loss and slight fraying; spine ends are bumped and faded. Former owner's name in blue ink on the rear of the front free end paper. Two page breaks, at the tltle page and between pages 926 & 927, exposing webbing, but the binding is sound. The front and rear end papers have maps which illustrate two of the stories.
These novels will delight Dennis Wheatley fans. In clever twists of plot and an abundance of thrills these stories have rarely, if ever, been excelled.
