Good condition for a second-hand book: moderate wear to dust-jacket, mainly to edges with chipping to flap folds and spine ends and 5cm closed tear to rear bottom edge, light soiling to jacket rear and reverse; light edge-wear to hardcovers and spine, light markings to covers, light slanting to spine, light foxing to page edges with light soiling to top edge and bottom corner of pages, occasional foxing/soiling internally, inscription to title page, creasing to page 201/202 inside bottom corner, otherwise internally fine given age of book.

Here at the B.D.C. we source goods for stores in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon area, by house collections and clearances, corporate and personal donations as well as emptying numerous textile and book banks in the area. We have been awarded the "Best National Oxfam On-Line Store" for 2009/10. All of our items have been listed by volunteers who have done a fantastic job, and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our on-line operation. We are not open to the public.
