This illustrated edition has been published for all those who treasure this highly original tale. Walking, observing and sketching in 'Watership Down' country, John Lawrence has used his carefully gathered knowledge to capture with beauty, freshness and fluidity the landscape of the story's setting. His illustrations are a marvellous complement to Richard Adams' exceptional and stunning novel. Contains a fold-out map.
One dim, moonlight night a small band of rabbits leave the comfort and safety of their warren, and set out on a long and dangerous journey. As they leave one terrible danger behind them, they lay themselves open to others just as fearful in their search for a new warren where they can live in peace.
