The Hairy Bikers Cookbook

£7.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

With their zest for both adventure and food and their laugh-out-loud capacity for fun, the Hairy Bikers make a very entertaining pair, travelling on their motorbikes to the ends of the earth in search of great meals to bring home to their friends. The journeys are exciting, the locations and people are fascinating and the food is delicious and unpredictable - often caught by the boys and then prepared and cooked by the side of a river, on a boat or on the beach. This book features the recipes shown in the television series and is full of anecdotes, maps, behind-the-scenes pictures, cooking tips and delicious laid-back food. From crocodile satay to Irish stew, chicken noodle soup to lamb fajitas, the food is international and adventurous but accessible. This hardback 2006 edition is complete with its unclipped dustjacket. Bound in red-cloth boards and gilt-stamped on the spine, the book is illustrated in full-colour throughout. The dustjacket shows signs of wear in that it is creased along the top edge and has a few faint scratches and marks. The boards and the text are in a good, clean condition.

Oxfam Bookshop Hexham

We relocated in January 2016 to larger premises and are now able to offer a wider range of books and music (you can come and check out your musical choices in our listening booth and also find out a lot more about Oxfam's work.). We have a new local interest section, more space for history and have extended our craft and arts offer.  We also sell cards, fair trade food and ethical cleaning and beauty products.

Hexham is a market town situated in the beautiful Tyne Valley - the ideal stopping off point before exploring Hadrian's Wall, Chesters, Housesteads and the Temple of Mithras at Carrawburgh.
