Vega Sicilia-Jose Penin- Rare First Edition-

£200.00

Product description

Vega Sicilia-Jose Penin- Rare First Edition

This is a fantastic book about the the winery- Vega Sicilia. This bodega has a mystery that surrounds it and this book seeks to explore that mystery! If one had to choose Spain's "wine among wines", it would have to be Vega Sicilia, a compendium of the classical and the typical, not a prototype of other wines made in other wine-producing regions in Spain.

This is an immaculate copy of a very rare, hard to find, book. It has a facsimile inscription by the former King of Spain, Juan Carlos I. on the third page dedicated to David Alvarez the owner of the winery.
This wonderful book has obviously never been read as the pages are completely clean and unblemished. It has a plastic dust jacket as issued and comes housed in a presentation slip case, also pristine although with the odd dust mark.
