Issues in Healthcare Risk Management

£9.99

Product description

From the Foreword on page iii:
"The delivery of effective healthcare involves the management of risk at every level of analysis. There are individual, organisational, and population level risks. There are risks in the delivery and operation of providers of healthcare as well as strategic planning and political risks. These risks will never be eliminated but by recognition of the range of issues that affect the quality of care that any one individual may receive, we can optimise the outcomes. The aim is therefore to arrive at a critical analysis of the issues and the factors that affect clinical outcomes so that we can move on to a position where the full range of risks are mitigated or 'managed'."

This book, which also contains numerous charts and tables to illustrate its points, is in rather good condition, although the covers are slightly worn in places and some of the pages are also worn in places (e.g. some are stained yellow at the bottom).
