Reprinted from a copy in the Columbia University Libraries this book was originally published in 1780. This edition was published in 1969 by Arno Press. The full title page is: 'A State of the Expedition from Canada, as laid before the House of Commons, by Lieutenant-General Burgoyne, and verified by evidence; with a Collection of Authentic Documents, and an addition of many circumstances which were prevented from appearing before the House by the prorogation of Parliament. Written and Collected by himself and dedicated to the officer of the army he commanded The Second Edition.' This is one of a series of books entitled 'Eyewitness Accounts of the American Revolution'.
Two tone cloth cover with silver titles on the spine and the front cover. The two upper outer corners are lightly bumped and there is a little wear at both ends of the spine, other than that the book is in very good condition. Internally the book is clean, bright and tightly bound. There are no markings or inscriptions.
