An interesting history of the fortunes of one regiment through the First World War. No author is quoted although four officers are thanked in the Foreword. Similarly the book bears no date but the Foreword is dated at 1927. The narrative is detailed and the text is followed by a prodigious Honours List, and a still more prodigious Roll of Honour.
Presumably published by the Regiment in hardback with no DJ. Dark Green cloth covered boards with red stripe horizontally above and below the coat of arms of the regiment on the front cover and silver lettering to the spine. No marks and good binding. There is a fascinating Certificate enclosed dated 1919 and presented to a Sergeant E G Stenitz on his "departure from the Egyptian Expeditionary Force"
