Above the Bright Blue Sky

£19.99

Product description

Subtitled as: "More about the War Birds". This book is one of the "Sundial" editions. The book has light blue cloth-covered boards and spine with the book title on the front cover. The book title, author's and publisher's names and the publisher's sundial logo are shown on the spine. The board hinges show some wear such that the cloth has lost much of its colour. The spine itself has faded due to shelf storage. The corners show some bumping and there is shelf wear on the bottom edge especially at the spine. The hinges are in good condition. The endpapers are blue with images of aeroplanes of the period depicted in white. At the front of the book, the free endpaper has torn away from the fixed endpaper along a length of about 35 mm near the bottom of the book. The pages are well cut at the top and side of the book but at the bottom side of the book the pages are roughly cut. The pages are showing slight discolouration and there are signs of foxing on many of the page edges.
