£53.00

Product description

A Duodecimo Signed Edition numbered 193/200. The original leather boards are rubbed to the extremities and the majority of the spine is missing showing the backing. The gilt titles are clear. Inside the front board is becoming detached from the ffep as is the List of Illustrations from Page 1. There is a previous owners signature on the ffep.Elsewhere there is some gaping between the signatures but to no great extent given the age of the book . All 209 pages, 71 illustrations, maps and plans are present and the gilding to the page edges is in good condition with some rubbing to the bottom leading edges as would be expected. The book provides a practical and easy guide to the Chelsea of 1900 based on two Itineraries that take you in a circular route around the Borough, each Itinerary being aided by a Map.
