Collins, London, 1998, first edition, hardback, no dust jacket, 4to, pp xi +139, 96 maps and 43 page gazetteer.

This facsimile touring atlas was recreated from the Practical Motorist's Touring Maps and Gazetteer published by John Bartholomew and Sons Ltd in 1900. It draws on maps produced from Ordinance Survey maps during the period 1897 to 1903 which were all hand-drawn, hand-lettered and printed from copper engraved plates.

Very good condition. Blue boards with gilt lettering. Boards clean and undamaged. Pages gilt-edged and clean with bright copy and firm binding.

We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop. Our shop has high ceilings and a nice, bright and airy feel. We are gaining a very good reputation in the Rare and Collectable books and vinyl community, but also do a roaring trade in contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction. We also organise live music and book events and aim to be a hub of culture in this wonderfully tight-knit community.
