Belgium the glorious her country and her people volume 2 edited by Walter Hutchinson published by Hutchinson & Co. Paternoster Row C1920 819 pages. The front cover features an attractive gilt design of a cathedral with gilt titling. The front cover shows signs of shelf wear with rubbing to the spine. There is also a minor tear to the top of the spine. Internally there is foxing to the front and rear end pages. Other than this the book is in a very good condition commensurate with age. It features 520 black and white illustrations, 8 coloured plates and 5 maps. The illustrations are all clean and bright. There are no tears, creases or marks internally. The binding is firm and tight. A fascinating book about Belgium post world war one.
