Volume 8 of 95 in this edition - 'Instructions for the guidance of Her Majesty’s Naval Officers employed in the suppression of the Slave Trade together with appendices, 1844'. (In the original 1844 edition, this was volume 19 of 20) Some text is in other languages as well as English.
Fair condition. No dust jacket. Binding - black leather spine and quarter covers scuffed, especially at top and bottom, green cloth for the remainder of the covers with bumped corners and some marks and scratches. Endpapers are good and clean, with evidence of some pencil writing at the front. The pages are very good and clean, gilt on the top edges, a little foxed along the other edges.
This volume is over 2kg in weight and will be sent by courier at a higher postage rate.
