Cappadocia

£75.00

Product description

This book was written to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the democratic Turkish Republic. It documents the cultural importance of Cappadocia, which is known as an area of exceptional natural beauty and cultural heritage. Authors who are each specialists in their respective academic spheres examine the role of this area in shaping the cultural history of Turkey. This book should appeal to students of history and archaeology, as well as those who are simply interested in the fascinating history of this region.

Condition: Condition: the book’s slipcase shows some moderate marking and denting, but remains in good condition. The dust-jacket shows some moderate marking, denting, shelf-wear, and corner-bumping. The cloth-covered boards have some very mild markings. There is an inscription in pen on the title page, and the early pages of the book do suffer from some light markings. However, the interior pages are generally crisp and clean with a good strong binding.
