CBA Research Report No 30 : The Alice Holt / Farnham Roman Pottery Industry

£24.99

Product description

This report sets out to reappraise previous work studying the Alice Holt/Farnham Roman potteries as well as give an account of more recent activities in an attempt to produce a comprehensive survey of them. It is divided into 5 sections dealing with the kiln groups, technology and exploitation of raw materials, and a corpus of pottery types and their distribution at different periods of manufacture.

Good+ condition. Some marks to cover and folds to a corner. Some pages also show some minor folds probably as a result of bumping. The booklet is unmarked internally, other than an ownership inscription.

Oxfam Books & Music Jesmond

We are a specialist shop nestled in the heart of Jesmond, a lovely residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop. Our shop has high ceilings and a nice, bright and airy feel. We are gaining a very good reputation in the Rare and Collectable books and vinyl community, but also do a roaring trade in contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction. We also organise live music and book events and aim to be a hub of culture in this wonderfully tight-knit community.
