This book tells the story of the Worshipful Company of Paviors from its humble origins in 1276 through to the end of the second millennium, warts and all. The author puts the story in the context of the story of the City from the Roman invasion to becoming a major world financial centre.

In excellent condition throughout, complete with dust jacket.
