Illustrated by upwards of Two hundred Engravings. No date of publication but previous owner's name inked on front endpaper dated 1852. Same name also written on back endpaper. Previous owner's label ' Rees Roberts. Fitter ' still present inside front cover. The binding is tight and the leather covers only lightly rubbed at the extremities.The gilt embossing on the spine and covers is still bright. The marbled cut edges are dulled with age but the green, blue and red marbled endpapers are still bright. Several pages have small ink spots and tiny inked numbers but this does not affect the legibility of the text.

We have unusually large sections in science fiction and fantasy, literature, history, travel, children's, business and the sciences. There is plenty of space for browsing and a couple of chairs for customers who wish to inspect books more closely. We also have a catalogue of about 1000 collectable books that are kept in the backroom, and these can be brought out for customers to view on request.
