Publisher: Brighton - E. Lewis 1862. Hardback no dust jacket (has brown paper temporary dust cover, not original). 383 pages. Cover is Marbled boards with leather corners and spine. Worn at top, bottom and corners with wear on marbled illustrations, heavy wear in places. Spine is frayed and torn and partially detached. Binding is firm, however the front cover is loose and partially detached at top and bottom. Inside the pages have some tanning and foxing, heavy in places but all readable. A rare book and collectable despite condition.
