HMS Glory arrived in the Far East too late to take part in active combat during world war Two although she accepted the surrender of Japanese Forces in New Guinea in 1945 and participated in the operation to repatriate ex-Japanese POWs following the war.She conducted several active tours of duty during the Korean War in the early 1950s before finally being put up for sale in 1957.

This book details her career from builders yard to shipbreakers, drawing on first hand accounts and many previously unpublished photographs.

Book in very good condition with clean pages throughout and securely bound.Printed in 2002.
