How Wars are Fought

£8.99

Product description

Subtitled the Principles of Strategy and Tactics. The author, Captain J E A Whitman formerly of the Royal Artillery, claims it is a brief sketch of the functioning of the two branches of military practice and how they have developed over the centuries. It was printed in 1941.
The hardback cover is worn and lightly discoloured but basically sound. The binding is sound except that it falls open between pages 40 and 41 where the binding is slightly loose. The endpapers are yellowed. Otherwise the pages appear to be in good and clean condition for the age of the book.
