For thirty years now Keith Swan and Margaret Carnegie have been committed to studying the region in which they live, the Riverina of New South Wales. They have located and studied original material, and published books and articles resulting from their research. Committed to the preservation of regional source material of many kinds, they have founded during the 1970s the Margaret Carnegie Collection in the Library of Riverina College of Advanced Education in Wagga Wagga, and the regional archives for the Riverina in the same College. Both have published a series of books on Australia, including, In Step with Sturt. Charles Sturt was was a British explorer of Australia, and part of the European exploration of Australia. He led several expeditions into the interior of the continent, starting from both Sydney and later from Adelaide.

This hardback, first edition is "as new"; there are many plates within of aerial photographs, maps and letters.

Situated in central Bristol above the Cotham Hill general Oxfam shop, Oxfam's Bristol Online Shop is a small team of welcoming and friendly volunteers ranging in age from teens to sixties - all are welcome for their contribution.
