John Harrison's Village

£19.99

Product description

A scarce copy of a publication by the Workers' Educational Association of Barrow upon Humber, comprising local history in the 17th and 18th centuries. Not just focusing on the famous innovator John Harrison, it is interesting as a study of a Lincolnshire Village at that time.
Although the cover is a little bumped on edges and corners, and there is a small ink mark on the front edge of the front cover, the interior is clean, all text clear, as are numerous maps, plans, charts and tables.
Of interest to anyone keen on local or social history regardless of whether they have a connection to the area.
