Kent: a chronicle of the century - 4 vols

£24.99

Product description

These four volumes explore the history of Kent, beginning when Queen Victoria was head of the British Empire, motor cars were a novelty and aeroplanes a pipe dream. They also look at the personalities who played their part in this period of Kent's history. Each of the 4 volumes covers 25 years, one year at a time, with 200 pages and as many illustrations. The author, Bob Ogley, a Kent journalist and historian, presents a book of reportage rather than analysis, describing each event as though it had just happened.

These are four soft cover books, together in a slipcase. They are first editions, published from 1996 to 1999, in very good condition. Each volume is signed by the author. They are to be shipped by courier because of their weight.
