Man's Journey Through Time : A First Step in Physical and Cultural Anthropochronology

£14.99

Product description

First edition published in 1957 by Hutchinson, Scientific and Technical. Printed on glossy paper.

Illustrated with black & white photographs, diagrams and tables of data. A fascinating academic, but nonetheless accessible, book about the reasons for man's evolution and the analysis of the supporting evidence.

This is an association copy, previously owned by Martin D Brasier, an English palaeobiologist and astrobiologist known for his conceptual analysis of microfossils and evolution in the Precambrian and Cambrian. He was Professor of Palaeobiology at the University of Oxford and Emeritus Fellow of St Edmund Hall. His research critically examined the context and character of the early fossil record.

In very good condition, some bumping to corners of the cover. Martin Brasier's name is written on the front end paper.
