Manual of Cotton Spinning, Volume IV, Part I
The Principles of Roller Drafting and the Irregularity of Drafted Materials.
"This volume is one of a series in course of publication under the general title 'Manual of Cotton Spinning'.
The theory of drafting is built up in stage by stage in a way which is easy to follow until, in the last chapter, the reader finds himself grappling successfully with some of the most advanced concepts of the cause of yarn irregularity.
The book is a valuable introduction to Volume Four, Part Two, 'The Mechanics of Roller Drafting', which will deal with the construction, maintenance and operation of drafting machines and the properties of their product"
