Now I Remember

Product description

Subtitled as: "A Holiday History of Britain". The book's boards are covered in yellow cloth with red illustrations to the front and rear. The book title, author's and publisher's names are also in red lettering on the spine. There are very few signs of bumping and the spine is in good condition. The dust jacket reflects the illustrations on the front and rear boards although they are in full colour on the jacket. The dust jacket shows signs of wear on all of its edges and there is a long tear along the spine crease and also a tear across the spine. The end papers are well-glued to the boards and there are few signs of foxing. The book has been signed by the author and there is a dedication on the free front end paper. There is also a loose newspaper clipping within the book that shows a letter from the author to the newspaper regarding some misrepresentations by a book reviewer. The book covers the salient points about the reign of all the monarchs in England (from William I) and later in Britain, arranged according to the architectural period of the time. The book has many black and white photographs. There are some notes made in ink in the margins by previous owners of the book.
