It provides a combination of personal revelation and eyewitness accounts of great events, such as the Great Plague of London, the Second Dutch War and the Great Fire of London. Divided into 8 volumes Taken from Cassell's National Library. Including advertisements to the front and rear. Condition: In brown cloth bindings. Externally, sound, though with some fading, marks, and some bumping. Spines discoloured. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright, and quite clean, with just the odd patch of foxing. Overall: GOOD ONLY.
