Product description

Publisher: The London & Counties Press association Limited, 1915. Hard cover without dust jacket as published. 488 pages. The leather bound cover has gilt titling and decoration on the front and spine. The cover is overall quite worn, it has bumping and some fraying along the edges and at the corners, the spine is quite faded and frayed at the top and bottom but all decoration and titling is intact, the back cover has some damage to the board. The pages are gilt edged and internally the condition is good with a firm binding. There are no tears, creases or inscriptions, the pages are a little tanned commensurate with age. There is a book plate which marks this as copy number 193 and the original owner-E.C.P Monson, a London based Architect. A rare and attractive book with many B&W illustrations and extensive information on the many guilds of London.
