Product description

This book is a first edition printed in 1965 by W. & J. Mackay & Co Ltd. The boards are a light turquoise colour. There is a printed ship and sea design that covers the bottom 110mm of the front and back boards, the sea design continues around the spine and joins up with the printing on the back board. There is impressed gold text on the spine which is the title and name of the author. The front boards have been mottled, heavy mottling on the front and light mottling on the back. The corners of the boards and top and bottom of the spine have been lightly bumped. This book is without a dust jacket but does come with a slip case. The slip case has minimal wear from use with a white line down one side and a split ( aprox 50mm long) where the outer covering has worn off and and the card has started to separate There is a black and white headband at the top and bottom of the spine. The book has been marked as a remainder along the top of the pages with blue ink, however the pages are still bright and clear. The hinges are still tight and strong.
