Tudor Wills Proved in Bristol 1546-1603

£8.99

Product description

During the years 1972 to 1978 members of a class organised by Bristol University Extra-Mural Department to study archives in the keeping of Bristol Record Office devoted their attention to transcribing the earliest wills found in the probate records originating from the Diocese of Bristol. The quantity of material was too great for all wills to be published therefore only wills of testators resident in the city or its suburbs are included and it was decided to calendar the chosen wills rendering them both briefer and more readily comprehensible.

The book is in very good condition. Pages are very clean and unmarked.

Oxfam Books & Music Jesmond

We are a specialist shop nestled in the heart of Jesmond, a lovely residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop. Our shop has high ceilings and a nice, bright and airy feel. We are gaining a very good reputation in the Rare and Collectable books and vinyl community, but also do a roaring trade in contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction. We also organise live music and book events and aim to be a hub of culture in this wonderfully tight-knit community.
