Where and How the War Was Fought by William J. Casey

£12.99

Product description

One-time director of the CIA, William J. Casey prefaces his work with: 'This book was written to help its readers relive the American Revolution during its bicentennial years and after.' Providing an 'armchair tour' of the American revolution, Casey explores the background of the conflict and its impact on the society it occurred within, as well as its resonance in the modern world.

The book is without a dust-cover, and features silver lettering on the blue cloth spine. The cover is red and contains a small number of scuffs, though these are largely unnoticeable. There is minor discolouring on the top page block, but the pages within are clean, bright and without marks. There is a written dedication in the ffep. The book also contains a number of maps to illustrate the context of its subjects, and is a first edition (1976).

A great introduction to one of the pivotal moments in American history.
