Great British sewing bee

£9.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

2016. The BBC 2 prime time series, The Great British Sewing Bee, is set to return to the nation's screens in May 2016. The companion book to the fourth series of this flagship BBC 2 show, The Great British Sewing Bee: From Stitch to Style, accompanies sewers at all levels on their creative journey. Starting with the Foundation chapter, sewers can choose from a collection of garments that will ease them into the world of sewing. Moving on to the Inspiration chapter, sewers are encouraged to look around them and seek inspiration from alternative sources beyond the high street and look at ways of incorporating that inspiration in their fabrics choices and garment silhouettes. Finally the Experimentation chapter brings everything previously learnt together and challenges the sewer to explore working with different fabrics, non-conventional sewing methods and tricky techniques. With over 25 garment designs for women, men and children, plus a wealth of sewing techniques, tips and tricks from the expert seamstresses and tailors that contribute to the series, The Great British Sewing Bee: From Stitch to Style is more than a project book; it is also an indispensable reference that will elevate your sewing to a professional level.
Excellent condition.

Oxfam Books & Music Olney

Welcome to Oxfam Books And Music Olney, situated just off the market square in Stanley Court opposite the Co-Op. Come and browse our extensive selection of books, music, DVDs, computer games and cards. In our shop you can discover a great range of material from the latest modern fiction to classic literature and vintage LPs. We are always happy to receive your donations of books or music, and you can choose to Gift Aid them to Oxfam. We might also be able to collect particularly large donations - just ask. We are always interested in hearing from people who wish to volunteer with us. Just pop in to collect an application form.

Could you help us by collecting donations from donors homes? Our shop receives many offers of generous donations that we have to turn down as we do not have volunteers able to collect. We would ask you to collect in your own car, at your convenience and reimburse your petrol costs. It might be a couple of times a month and would make a really big difference to our ability to make money.
