Covering the city coinages from Syria and Phoenicia to Babylonia and Baktria, and the important mints of Kyrene and Carthage in North Africa. The final section is devoted to the regal issues of the principal kingdoms ending with Cleopatra VII of Egypt, whose death ended the Ptolemaic dynasty. Over 4500 coins with nearly 2000 photographs, 4 tables of ancient alphabets, 11 maps and an index on pp. 755-762. Contains xlviii + 445 pages numbered from 317 to 762 , with b/w photographs. Bound in black cloth on hard boards, with black and orange dust cover. In very good condition, the dust cover is rubbed on both front and back covers, and creased along the edges of the spine.

We have unusually large sections in science fiction and fantasy, literature, history, travel, children's, business and the sciences. There is plenty of space for browsing and a couple of chairs for customers who wish to inspect books more closely.
