"Mobiles can bring movement and interest to any shape or size of room. These simple hanging decorations can be made by the artistic, the experimentalist, the budding interior decorator or anyone who can cut out a few squares and circles.

The materials needed range from paper, cardboard matches and coloured foil to the exciting possibilities of acetates and plastics.

Anne and Christopher Moorey explain the basic structure of a mobile and then demonstrate some of the many variations possible with different shapes or materials.

There are full instructions for making some 40 mobiles, with photographs or drawings of the finished result and step-by-step diagrams. The 4 pages of full colour give some idea of the novel and exciting decorations which can easily be made".
