The cover blurb states: There is no greater pleasure in the world than ownership of a well trained dog and this may be had easily if the instructions contained in this book are followed day by day. The author has had many years experience with all kinds of dogs, and every method described has been tested and found successful in daily practice. The illustrations are of actual training processes and the reader is taken step by stp from the first lesson for the puppy to the advanced obedience exercises of the older dog'.

The illustrated boards have rubbed wear and the spine has damage at the top and bottom. Yellowed end papers. The binding is sound.
