About this item
A Concise Dictionary of Middle English is a re-print of a rare book, very hard to come by. It is a definitive collection of all the words that entered our language around the time of Middle England. Each word has a detailed definition by it.
This particular copy is in very good condition. Its exterior has only slight signs of wear - scuffs to its edges from shelf storage and a small crease in the bottom right of the front cover from being flipped through.
As for the interior, its pages are clean and free of any writing, highlighting or markings.
Overall, this is a wonderful collection of the words we used in the time of Chaucer. All linguistics and academics will marvel at it and find it a very useful source indeed.
