Fabrice

£4.99

Product description

After three and a half years of captivity in a camp from which he tried three times to escape, Fabrice Hersent, 47, returns to his landaise property during the month of January 1944. Las of the two World Wars, for Which he believes has largely fulfilled his duty as a patriot, he now aspires to a quiet life in his home with his young wife, Aydée. Yes, but there it is, it seems to have vanished, apparently in London, with a comrade who had succeeded in his escape, and whom he had promptly mandated to carry news to his wife.
Cruel link for Fabrice, who must nevertheless resume the course of his existence. This is punctuated by her encounters with old acquaintances, such as Noémie, her maid, Madame du Pradia, her mother-in-law, but also Garbay, a strange individual re-emerging for some reason.

VG clear pages, some edge and cover wear + school library stamp.
