Lullabies and Night Songs

£14.99

Product description

A beautifully produced book with a collection of 48 lullabies and 'night songs' magnificently illustrated by Maurice Sendack. There are poems by Lewis Carroll, William Blake, James Thurber and Robert Louis Stevenson which have been chosen by the editor, William Engvick, and set to music by Alec Wilder for the first time. There are songs which have been sung for centuries but for which Alec Wilder has provided delightful new arrangements. All are simple enough for piano players to follow by themselves. Each song has one or more charming illustrations.
The dust jacket has some creasing and small tears to the upper edge and spine ends; old label mark on the upper right front corner; some light general handling marks on the back cover. The book is in fine clean condition.
