Pinafore, and The Pirates of Penzance, each comprising a dramatist personae, foreword, libretto and notes, and favourite songs arranged for piano and singing. Illustrated by Lucille Corcos, arrangements by Dr. Albert Sirmay. Full-page colour illustrations.

Quarter-bound with red cloth binding to spine and black/white speckled covering to front and rear boards, gilt lettering and black illustrations to spine, red endpapers.

Good condition for a second-hand book: light edge-wear to covers and spine, mainly to spine ends, light slanting to spine, red binding sunned to spine and front cover, 7.3cm closed tear to top end of rear cover-spine joint; chip to bottom edge of rear pastedown endpaper, inscription dated December 1962 to front free endpaper, very light tanning/foxing to page edges, occasional markings internally, otherwise internally fine given age of book.

Here at the B.D.C. we source goods for stores in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon area, by house collections and clearances, corporate and personal donations as well as emptying numerous textile and book banks in the area. We have been awarded the "Best National Oxfam On-Line Store" for 2009/10. All of our items have been listed by volunteers who have done a fantastic job, and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our on-line operation. We are not open to the public.
