The dust jacket boasts there are over 300 illustrations ... 16 in full colour! Articles include: The Greatest Comeback Ever (Judy Garland) by Hugh Castle; Keeping a Date with Rock Hudson by Elsie Lee; Now I Call These Funny by Bob Monkhouse; The Girl of the Year: Grace Kelly - the Toast of Hollywood by Margaret Hinxman; Tops For Laughs (Benny Hill) by Derek Walker; There's a Star Rising in the North (Sheree North) by Constance Day; Spend a Day with John Wayne, Shelley Winters, Betty Grable, and Jeff Chandler; I Want to be lazy by Richard Basehart; Lifeline: Rory Calhoun by Connery Chappell; and many others.

The dust jacket has numerous tears and creases (please see the photo) and has indentations as if it has been used for writing upon. The boards are bound in plain beige cloth, with the title and publisher bordered in red on the spine. They are a bit grubby with bumped corners and shelf wear on the edges. The endpapers are secure, but there is a 'From Mum and Dad' inscription and some scribble in ink on both of those at the front. The rear endpapers have two sticky marks, a 6cm tear, and foxing. Most of the pages are clean although although there are some dog-ears and light foxing throughout.
