Comprises six Hawaiian-inspired pieces arranged for Hawaiian, rhythm and bass guitar.
Wout originated in Holland but settled in England, he built his reputation in the 1960s as a solo Hawaiian and jazz guitarist, performing solo on stage with just guitar and voice, using backing recordings of his own vocal and instrumental recordings which he had made in his own studios, a kind of one-man exotica orchestra. He is known to have sung in French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Hawaiian and Maori.
There is an old, small tear with a small piece of old tape to mend it, on the front cover, as may be viewed in the image. No other faults, however: all text and musical notation are clearly printed, there are also 3 full page b/w photographs of Wout inside, a further full-page b/w photograph on the rear paper cover.
