The book has gold coloured boards and spine with a musical design in black covering both front and rear covers and the spine. The title of the book is written in black on the spine. There is no bumping or shelf wear as the book also has a slip case of a matt gold colour. The slip case is also in good condition apart from two minor dents on the bottom edge of the case. The endpapers are matt gold in colour, the same as the slip case. They are well-glued to the boards and the spine. The pages are well-glued to the spine and show no signs of any damage, having been protected by the slip case. The pages also show no signs of discoloration or any markings. The book has several black and white drawings of a similar design to the cover picture.
