Katherine Gallagher grew up on a farm near Bendigo, Australia. She started writing poetry in 1965. Her work has been widely published in Australia and to a lesser extent in the United Kingdom and Europe, and in 1981, she won the Warana Poetry award. At the time of publication, she was living in London with her husband and son.

In very good condition. DJ has slight creasing to edges. Red cloth board cover has slight bumping to spine. Pages within are clean, crisp and in great condition. Binding is tight.
