Poems by Henry Hacon

£29.99

Product description

Poems written by the vicar of Searby-cum-Owmby in Lincolnshire, dated 1905. The book has been dedicated to Mr J B Wallhead by the author on the first page, and a page of positive reviews has been stuck inside the book. The poems are of a religious nature.

Hardback. The book has a plain green cover with title title, author and publisher printed in gold lettering on the spine. There is very minimal rubbing in the corners. Inside, the front and back pages in particular are discolured, and the ink the author used to dedicate the book is visible on the following page, surrounded by foxing. Some of the pages inside the book are discoloured or foxed, but overall it has been kept in an excellent condition for a book over 100 years old. The binding is in great condition and there are no loose pages.

This book is in fantastic condition for its age and has obviously been loved by its previous owner(s).
